What is whipped body butter?
Whipped body butter is a water free blend of shea butter and nourishing oils whipped into a light, rich texture. It melts with your body’s warmth and helps seal in moisture so your skin feels soft and smooth.
What ingredients are in Layla’s Butter body butters?
Our body butter formulas include avocado oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, unrefined shea butter and vitamin E. Scented varieties may also include skin safe fragrance oil or essential oils. Ingredients can vary by product, so please review the ingredient list on the individual product page before use.
Does the Unscented Body Butter contain scented oils?
No. Our Unscented Whipped Body Butter contains no added scented oils. It is made with avocado oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, shea butter and vitamin E.
Can everyone use Layla’s Butter products?
Our products are made for anyone who enjoys rich moisture and intentional self care. Everyone’s skin is different, so review the ingredients and test a small amount on one area before applying more broadly. Stop using the product if irritation occurs.
Can I use body butter on my face?
Our whipped body butters are intended for external use on the body. We do not recommend applying them to your face or near your eyes.
How should I use whipped body butter?
Apply a small amount to clean, slightly damp skin and massage until distributed. Focus on hands, elbows, knees, feet and other areas that need extra moisture. A little goes a long way.
What is Whipped Hair Butter?
Our Whipped Hair Butter is a leave in product made with nourishing oils and shea butter. Rub a small amount between your hands, smooth it through damp or dry hair, focus on the middle lengths and ends, and style as usual.
Storage and Product Care
How long does body butter last?
Body butter can last up to six to eight months when stored and handled properly. Use clean, dry hands and keep water out of the jar to help protect the product’s quality.
How should I store my body butter?
Store it below 78°F in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Warm temperatures can soften or melt naturally whipped products.
My body butter melted. Is something wrong?
No. Natural body butter can melt during warm weather or shipping. Place the closed jar in a cool, dry location and allow it to solidify. The whipped texture might change, but the product can still be used as directed.
Ordering and Shipping
Do you offer samples?
We do not currently offer samples. Consider starting with a 4 oz jar if you want to try a new scent.
How long does order processing take?
Please allow up to seven business days for order processing. You will receive order and shipping updates using the contact information provided at checkout.
What payment methods do you accept?
Available payment options are displayed securely during checkout.
Can I update or cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as possible by replying to your order confirmation email. We will do our best to help, but changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed after processing begins.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States only.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. Layla’s Butter Digital Gift Cards are available in several amounts from $25 to $100.
What is your return policy?
Because our products are personal care items, all sales are final. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, reply to your order confirmation email so we can review the issue.
